Our summer camps are done for the 2017 Summer season.
If you're curious about what we did this summer, please read on!

We are excited to offer Wally's Playgroups Design Wizards! -  A new week long summer workshop!

Objective: Introduce children to basic design thinking concepts while teaching them the human connection and collaboration that spark the design engine. Through hands-on, experiential learning and lots of fun!

We envision our kids here in Seattle to be the ones who will innovate to make the World a better place.  Innovative ideas in this age typically come from radical collaboration.  Design thinking can put the human at the center of the design process and allows for development of some key skills - empathy, reciprocation, compromise, and value in human participation and connection - all essential ingredients for healthy, productive, collaboration. While your child will have fun designing a cool contraption or application with a team - they will get to learn and practice some fundamental collaboration skills that are directly relevant to school projects and their future. Let’s start them early!

This summer workshop will be held the second week in August (8/7-8/11).

Our morning workshop is for children going into 3rd and 4th grade in the fall.
